At Last - my new Craft Workshops are coming to Devon.  I'm holding a variety of new CRAFT WORKSHOPS in EXETER -  anyone interested in Card-Making, Jewellery, Silk Fibre Craft, Felting, Beginners Painting and Papercraft in general won't want to miss out on these new Workshops.

If you like Card-Making, Scrapbooking, Altered Art etc.,  then these are the Workshops for you....

The first Workshop will be "Silk Fibre Craft" - using real silk fibres to decorate a variety of objects - we will also be making our own "Silk Papers" which can be used for all sorts of crafts from card-making and scrapbooking to sewing and covering books. ....

Also, I'll be covering the techniques using Silk Fibres  that Iv'e had published in " Papercraft"  magazine.

All materials will be supplied for you and no experience is necessary. Tea and coffee all morning too. Yummy.

To enquire about the Workshops or to book your place please CLICK HERE  and I'll be happy to help.

Gelli-plate - such fun......

Gelli-plate fun -

Boy am I having fun playing with my new Gelli-plate. Playing with this new crafty gizmo has made such a difference to my crafting now. I can't stop creating new papers ready to use for my crafting. Take a look at some of the designs so far.... I can't wait to add the designs to canvasses, cards, scrapbook pages and more.

I keep looking at objects around the house wondering what they would look like stamped into the Gelli-plate.

I thoroughly recommend that you get one if you are a serious crafter or artist. Background papers to die for are achievable with just a few layers of paint and stamps.

You can even use kids stamps which, because they are thick foam and quite deep, they make wonderful impressions on your gelli-plate. Every time you create something there is a surprise in store. Look how these Butterflies turned out on this piece.. I just pressed a cardboard Butterfly into the paint and now they look like they are embossed.

I will be designing lots and lots of papers and putting them onto my blog in future posts for you to see. Off now to play again.... Back soon.
